How I calculate the number of exposures of my Canon Camera That can easily be made from the file numbering (this works for my EOS350D/Rebel but for other canons, too). The camera creates a new folder every 100 pictures. and these folders are also numbered ascending. so, I just put together filenames and folder names and tahdah! that can easily be made from the camera display, too: …but it only works if you have set the counter to “Continous” instead of resetting it with every new compact flash card.
