today, a nicely handpacked package from Hong Kong arrived. content: Moleskine Asia’s Limited Helvetica Edition. Perfect timing: on Monday the next semester starts and I start a new book of moleskine with thoughts, ideas, notes and exercises.

i remember the designcamp 2003 very well. there was a course “Markenbildung” (building brands) by Prof. Rayan Abdullah, where, on the first day, we went out to search for tiny things from nature and put them into slide frames. Later then, we looked through them projected as b/w-graphics to the wall as an inspiration for brandings/logos or something. This was a really cool idea and the whole course by Rayan Abdullah amazed me as well as he himself changed me in a certain way. His way of talking and working touched me.
